So far, I have had the great joy of two visits to Barrens at Bay, a peaceful respite from my too-busy life in Toronto and Montreal.
My dog Auggie and I love the beachfront, the walking trails, the company of resident canine friends Harry and Luke, and the possibility of a morning dip in the pond -- that latter is Auggie's perspective! Stephen and Gary's introductions and advice on local activities, attractions, and resources helped me feel quickly at home in Guysborough County. Barrens at Bay = All the joys of a beautifully appointed seaside home and none of the responsibilities: what could be better? A third visit!!
